Privacy Policy — Config Analyzer for Jira Cloud

Last updated: [01/07/2026]

In short

Config Analyzer for Jira Cloud does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything runs locally in your browser.

What data the extension handles

To perform its single purpose — analyzing a Jira Cloud project’s configuration — the extension reads project configuration data (permission, notification, issue type, screen, security and workflow schemes and their rules, roles and members) through Jira’s APIs, using the session already active in your browser. This data is processed locally only, for as long as it takes to generate the document, and never leaves your browser.

Data stored locally

The extension stores the following in the browser’s local storage (chrome.storage.local):

This data stays on your device, is never sent to any server, and you can delete it by removing the extension or clearing your browser data.

Transmission to third parties

None. The extension does not send data to the developer’s servers or to any third party. It uses no analytics or tracking.

If you choose to leave a vote/feedback via the dedicated button, you are directed to an external form (e.g. Google Form): in that case the privacy policy and terms of the form’s host apply, and you only provide the data you voluntarily enter.
