This extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything runs locally in your browser.

What data the extension handles

To perform its single purpose — analyzing a Jira Cloud project’s configuration and comparing its workflows with a Data Center export — the extension handles:

Jira Cloud configuration. Read through Jira’s APIs using the session already active in your browser: permission, notification, issue type, screen, security and workflow schemes and their rules, project roles and members, and custom fields. This data is processed locally, only for as long as it takes to generate the document, and never leaves your browser.

Data Center workflow XML files that you upload. When you use the comparison feature, you select a workflow XML file that you exported yourself from your Data Center instance. The file is read and parsed locally in the browser. It is not uploaded anywhere, not stored by the extension, and is discarded when the page is closed. The extension never connects to your Data Center instance.

Data stored locally

The extension stores the following in the browser’s local storage (chrome.storage.local):

• a cached index of the instance configuration, to avoid re-reading it on every use (expires after 24 hours, scoped to the single Jira domain);
• the branding settings you set (logo and company name used in report headers and footers);
• your chosen interface language (English or Italian).

This data stays on your device, is never sent to any server, and you can delete it by removing the extension or clearing your browser data.

Transmission to third parties

None. The extension does not send data to the developer’s servers or to any third party. It contains no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.

If a feedback link is offered and you choose to use it, you are directed to an external form; in that case the privacy policy and terms of that form’s host apply, and you provide only the data you voluntarily enter.

Generated documents

Word, PDF and CSV files are generated locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. They are not transmitted to the developer or to anyone else. Because they may contain configuration details of your Jira instance, treat them with the same care as any internal document.

Permissions

• storage: to save the cache, your settings and your language choice locally.
• access to https://*.atlassian.net/*: to read configuration via Jira’s API on Jira Cloud pages, using your existing session.
